The technical experience derived from developing RPM 10.1 was also helpful to improve the RPM 9: the new RPM 9.2 benefits from high mass and better resonance behaviour. A centralised metal block gives a defined gravity point and effectively absorbs resonances.

The RPM 9.2 utilises an over-sized inverted main bearing with ceramic ball and plate. The ceramic ball bearing is both extremely tough and absorbent. Newly designed magnetic feet isolate the turntable from intrusion from beneath,taking advantage of both the subchassis and the high-mass principles.

A free-standing heavyweight motor block is decoupled completely from the turntable. With its new 9in Evolution tonearm, the RPM 9.2 offers exceptional value for money and clearly has class-leading sonic qualities.
